SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE

The Special Event Committee is in charge of the Poker Run and Poker Walk booths during the Event and all Hot August Nights parade entries and floats throughout the year.

COMMITTEE CHAIR - MARNIE FRANK

Hi, my name is Marnie Frank and welcome to the Special Events Committee.

Specific responsibilities for Special Events Committee will include the planning and preparation of all three HAN entries in the Hometown Christmas Parade, the Reno Rodeo Parade and the HAN Sunday Finale Parade ending our great event in August.

Besides our parade entries, what does our committee do? During the event we will set-up and operate the Poker Run for car participants and the Poker Walk for car participants and the public. We have some great plans in the making and we welcome anyone to join us.

This year I am fortunate to announce that Deb Roberts and Norm Frank, two seasoned veterans of HAN, have agreed to be Assistant Chairmen for the Special Events Committee. I invite everyone to come down to the HAN office at 5:30pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month, starting in February for our meetings. Meet the team and join in on planning our year’s activities.
