Drag Races – The Hot August Nights Drag Races will be held in the west parking lot of John Ascuaga’s Nugget (corner of Nugget Avenue and 14th St.) The gates will open at 5:30 PM each day. Tech checks from 5:30 PM, racing from 6 PM - midnight. Please fill out the application and follow the instructions for payment and submission.

Nugget Stock Competition – Hot August Nights and John Ascuaga’s Nugget presents Best Stock Original & Best Stock Restored Competition. To participate in this genuine competition you must be a Hot August Nights registered car participant. Judging will take place on Friday, August 9th from 10am to 3pm in the Sparks Victorian Square venue. There is no additional registration fee for entry into the “Best Stock Original” and “Best Stock Restored” car judging competition and the judging will be done by the National Automobile Museum, the Harrah’s Collection.

Participants will receive a separate window sticker in their primary registration packet. Window sticker is to be displayed above their HAN registration sticker.

 Awards will be presented at 6 PM from the entertainment stage on Victorian Avenue.

 Prizes will be a trophy and $500 per each of the above two categories.
