MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

Membership oversees the care and maintenance of the members. Prior to the Event, this group organizes the services to be provided to the Members, is in charge of recruitment of new Members, provides the uniforms and “goodie” packets, coordinates with the other areas of service for delegation of work, and tabulates Member’s participation during the Event. Throughout the year, Membership plans and organizes member parties and other social gatherings. During the Event, Membership staffs and runs the information booths, poker walk booth and member shuttle.


I would personally like to thank Carl Girtler and Carol Blasquez for agreeing to be Assistant Chairmen. I am also happy that Howard Richner has decided to remain a Vice Chairman as well. These hard working people will be a real asset in keeping things running smoothly.

The yearly theme for the member parties has been decided and the decorating committee have been making plans to make the parties unique. Be sure and attend the parties for a good time and to see what the theme of the parties for the 2008 will be.

We would love to have you come and visit our meetings and see if you would like to join or friendly group of people. Our meetings are held the third Thursdays of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Hot August Nights office.
