Foundation Committee

This Committee is busy all year around and We hit the ground running in October by awarding the annual Raffle Car at Fall Frenzy.

We also raised another $299 with a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale. An extremely busy November began with a Sock Hop for our O’Brien school kids, at which they learned to do the Hand Jive. Great music, prizes and a fun time for all!! This was followed by a Coat Drive at all Jack in the Box and Qdoba locations.

To reward perfect attendance, we held our 1st quarter Attendance Party at O’Brien. We and our kids celebrated with an Ice Cream Social, including some great prizes. We had loads for fun, and so did they.

In December, we “adopted” O’Brien kids for Christmas, and held a Scarf Party for the girls. Mid-month found us at a Xmas Present Wrapping Party and Potluck, where each child had a bag of hygiene items collected throughout the year, plus a special gift from those who “adopted” them. How gratifying to see those kid’s faces!!
